Birthday!

Maddux is seven years old today, Tuesday, March 25th. I can hardly believe it! They grow up so quickly......he received some Easter toys from his "grandparents" over the weekend and tonight he is joining Ben and me for dinner with some friends and their Maltese, Ritzy Ragsdale.

Easter

Ben and I spent Easter in Atlanta with my family. I've included a picture of some of the entries in our annual egg decorating contest. My sister's Elliott Spitzer egg was the big winner. The dolphin is mine....Dad made the bunny, Mom made the pig, and Ben made the black cat (Atticus!).

El Paso, TX

We just returned from a fun trip out west to visit Jerry and Korey....and little Austin! He is almost six months old now and incredibly fun. He kind of resembles his Uncle Ben (mostly because Austin looks just like his grandfather/Ben's dad!) and is always smiling.

Our pride and joy! These two are best friends......this is them taking a nap together on New Years Day. They were tuckered out from the festivities of the night before.

Steamboat Springs, CO

My sister, Alison, her husband, Brian, and some friends of ours, Tara and Nando, joined Ben and me in Steamboat for a ski trip in mid-February. The trip was wonderful! This picture is of me, Tara and Alison taken on Tara's second day EVER on skis.

My first blog!

With Ben and me being the only two members in either of our families to reside in South Carolina, I figured creating a blog may be an easy way for everyone to see what we're up to and keep tabs on us.



Not much to report at the time......a beautiful, lazy Sunday. I enjoyed a book in the sun while Ben went to the driving range. I'll put some pictures of recent trips on the blog soon.
